A year ago tomorrow

Was our first visit with the reproductive endocrinologist. While I am unhappy with the conclusion of that adventure...I'm happy it was a short one. And I am grateful for the doctor we were able to see.

I remember seeing him on a Friday and coming back the following Monday for something...probably bloodwork. I remember being happy I had MLK off, so I could see the dr without having to tell anyone at work about it.

I don't know if I told you guys, but right before I left OK, I had paid off all of my medical debt....infertility-related and the appendectomy. So now I get to spend my money on fun things....like caftan and turbans and cocktails and half-day motorboat rentals.

I wish I could give you a baby or something.
  • I am not trying to be a Debbie Downer......I am grateful for my doctor and my husband...because our experience was really a good one, compared to some people's experience, even if we didn't get the ending we wanted. It just wasn't meant to be. At least I have my job now. And that is someone else to be grateful for.

But PMeg...if you see one laying around, pick it up for me ;)

  • Don't hate but I love that caftan. I'd rock different head gear though.
  • Me too, PMeg. And those glasses might not even be that problmatic, given I don't have that nose.

I can totally see that caftan on the right person. But yes, the turban and sunglasses need to go.

  • I want the jewelry.

    Yay for having money!
