Wedding Hair and Make-up

Hey Ladies!  So I am trying to decide whether or not to have hair stylist/make-up peeps come to my location for the wedding day, or to just go somewhere.  I am gettting married in Seattle so I have many different options on places to go but I just don't know if I will be more stressed out driving to and from places on the wedding day!  Plus, the cost of a hair stylist coming to my location can get a bit pricey is it worth it??  HELP!

I say the less traveling and moving around you do, the better. Less stressful it would seem. At least then you'll be somewhere you know you'll be comfortable. How much more do you have to pay to have them come to you? For me personally, it would be worth it. Godd luck!

I agree with PP. The less running around you do the better. Staying calm cool and collected is important. I had hair/makeup come to me and I was SOOO glad I did. We took pictures before the wedding so if we had to go to the makeup/hair people we would have run out of time.

I had two separate people for hair and make-up so it was a little tricky (but worth it!).  The make-up guy was willing to travel to me and really didn't charge that much (only $25 to go the north Seattle).  My hair guy was at Gene Juarez Northgate so I guess I assumed he wouldn't travel, but I didn't ask (thinking about it, not sure why, but it was already pretty expensive).  It was actually nice going there and I really enjoyed it.  Also, he had to wash my hair to style it so that probably wouldn't have been as pleasant at my parent's house lol

I'm going to Gene Juarez for hair/makeup, but the salon is right down the street from the church so it's not a big deal. I actually really like going to that salon, so I'm looking forward to it. Plus, they'll be in their element there.
