budget caterer

I am looking to only have cocktails and Hors d'oeuvres at my reception to save money.  Does anyone know of a caterer that is not as expensive.  I would love to do dinner but I am trying to stay at $10 pp or less.

We're doing hor d'oeuvres which will be a mixture of homemade (I'll have a bunch of aunts that can't wait to help in town for a few days prior) and some stuff from costco that can be dolled up, and then some treats from a local bakery and tea sandwiches from the grocery store.

JennyAnn's caterer is pretty good.  http://www.barryscatering.com/

There's also Renton Technical College's catering department: http://www.rtc.edu/catering/menus3.htm

I agree with pp. I think that if you can swing it, save the money and DIY! But if that isn't possible, look into RTC. They have AMAZING prices!

I used Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes Catering for my RD. There prices were very reasonable, great service and the food was yummy! We had a very small head count so I don't think they have $ minimums like some caterers.
