Venue Is Booked :(

I thought I was ahead of the game, but no. The venue is booked for ALL weekends in May 2013. :(

I really don't know what to do now. That was the only reasonably-priced venue that will hold our guests.

*sigh*

Guess you need to pick a new date or cut the guest list.

The good news is you have tons of time.  Pick another venue, another month, or revise the guest list.

You could have it on a weekday in the evening.

This.  Weekday weddings are the worst idea EVAR.  If you have a weekday wedding, I would count on 2% attendance.

I guess that would solve the need for a large venue to accomodate all guests though.

How many people are on your guest list, and how many of those are must-invites?  Is there any way to cut back on the number so you can move to another venue?

And if not, are they only booked on Saturday evenings or are the afternoons free?  Can you move the wedding to earlier or later, to April or June, etc?

We completely fell in love with our venue and found out that we couldn't have the late April/early May wedding we wanted - we had the option of March or September and went with March.  (well, we could have done an afternoon in April but we preferred an evening).
