Wedding Woes

Short and tall...

I'm 4'11 and he is 6'3... And tip on how to even it out a bit without risking falling on my face in too high heels?

Why are you worried about making it even? You're short and he's tall every other day of the week, right?

Have him kneel? Only take photos on stairs? Go to China and get leg extensions?

You are the exact heights of my in-laws. They've been married almost 32 years. You'll figure it out.

Ok....Well, we have the sex part down. No advice needed in that area. Undecided

I was thinking more about the dancing and photos. I like the step stool idea for photos, because my MOH is about 5'8 and one of my BMs is pretty tall also. I'm not trying to be something I'm not... I just don't want it to be the first thing people notice when they look at the pictures. I'm not worried about the ceromony, but I would like to be able to wrap my arms behind his neck when we dance...

I ams sure people already notice, it's a significant height difference. Hell I would have liked to rest my head on my husband's shoulder while we danced, but I am an inch taller, would have had a crick in my neck the rest of the night.
If you aren't trying to be something you aren't, why are you trying to make your wedding photos something they aren't meant to be?

Meant to be? Who's to say what they are "meant to be"? That's like saying, "Why wear makeup?" It's not how you actually look.... Same complex.

Standing on a stool for pictures or dancing isn't quite the same as wearing make up. Wearing makeup because we like it and how it makes us look is one thing. Trying to make yourself not seem short next to your very tall husband is completely another.
