Bad news :(

I was hoping that no news was good news.  Unfortunately, they only just received my results in the mail (wtf?) at noon today.

I have the beetus.  I failed my first two draws, by 9 and 10 points, respectively.

I know plenty of women develop GD and I'm not the only one, but I feel extra bummed because DH and I just made the decision to try for a vbac.  I had decided a couple months ago that I definitely wanted to do it and DH just recently got on board.  I just found out today he is getting me a vbac book for MD.

The nurse didn't say that my doc wouldn't want me to do it, but I won't be allowed to go past my due date.  So I guess if I go into labor before then, I can try, but if it just doesn't happen, I'm looking at another c/s.

We'll definitely be discussing this tomorrow at my appointment, so maybe I'm assuming incorrectly.

    couldn't they do an induction if it's past your due date? I was induced and had a vag delivery. We wanted to avoid surgery at all cost.

    Sorry it wasn't the news you were hoping for. :(

    My doctor won't induce me at all, GD or not, because of my prior c/s.  I knew that going into this pregnancy.

    Taw, don't give up just yet. You still might be able to do it, and the baby might be ready before your due date anyway.
