What should FI wear for e-session?

FI and I are having our e-session this week, and I'm trying to figure out what he should wear for our "nice/fancy" part.

I'm wearing this dress (nude/ tan with black polka dots) with a cream-ish colored cardigan that is cropped with short sleeves (to cover up the goods ):



The shirt FI wore in the pic has a tiny pattern, so I don't think he should wear that to the e-session (doesn't it do wacky things sometimes in photos?).

I'm thinking either a solid short-sleeved Polo shirt or a long-sleeved solid color button-up.  If it's a l/s button-up, what color do you think?  FI has black hair and hazel eyes, and is tan (at least compared to me!).

Also, should he wear khakis or black pants?

That's a toughie. I like both polo and long-sleeved. I would say, however, black pants would be my vote )

Yeah, probably black pants.  For the shirt, I would vote button-up, maybe burgandy?

Definitely black pants (I'm just not a fan of khaki in general, so that's just me).  I'm really bad with picking out guys' clothes though as far as the shirt - luckily DH can do that for himself.  I agree that no pattern is probably better though and I like button ups.  Maybe a color?  Since your dress is neutral, maybe a color would look good.

i would go with a solid color, long sleeved shirt....with black pants, definitely.

Cute dress!  I agree on the black pants and long sleeved shirt.  A green shirt may blend your neutrals with the setting of your photos.
