Wedding Woes

I've been awake since 3

H just *had to* turn up the damn heat last night because he was "freezing"

Okay, okay, I keep it about 60 - 65 in the winter, but still.

Anyway, he must have turned it up to "3 feet from lake of fire" because it was sweltering and he was snoring so hard he was shaking the bed. After my 7th attempt to wake him TF up or get him to turn over I finally grabbed my pillow and blankets and headed to the couch.

I don't know why. I should have made him sleep on the couch, but at 3 am, half asleep, I just wanted away from the flucking noise.

So I lay down on the nice cool leather and then the cats are all over me.

MEOW!!! *eye twitch*

MEOWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! gahhhhh!

So I laid there for about an hour then got up and cleaned the kitchen. When H finally went into the bathroom I laid back down but was too pissed to fall asleep, except of course 5 minutes before my alarm went off.

:-/

I'm exhausted. I don't know how you mothers do it.

Oh! But the upside is that H felt terrible (he woke up and I snapped his head off when he questioned where I was going, I don't remember what i said, but I remember yelling) so this morning he: got my pills ready for me with a glass of water
    Made my salad
    packed my computer up

Haha I told him when I got up that I wasn't mad at him so much as the situation, and irritable with the lack of sleep, but still - the extras help.

    Damn, that's a crappy night.

It's easier to do when there is a sweet little baby in your arms.  Looking at the husband that made you tired isn't the same.

</div><div>^this. However when the husband is groggy and is too slow changing a diaper and the baby is  SCREAMING because he wants to eat it can be irritating.

    AMEN.
I've finally convinced the Mr. that the 3 am system is "feed, change diaper, feed" instead of 'diaper...lots of screaming, to upset to eat...eventually calm down, feed' (the latter adds 45 minutes to the time I have to be awake, especially since, if I"m exhausted and the Mr. is doing a bottle, 1/2 hours worth of screaming means i'm up because my bewbs are convinced they must be.

    That is so frustrating.

We've been keeping our house cooler than normal because I get so hot at night, but in the morning, DH turns the furnace up to Hell because he's cold when he wakes up.  So of course I end up waking up sweating an hour or so later.   It's so irritating.  And he's already gone, so I can't yell at him right then and there.

Oh man, if I get hotter when pregnants, we are screwed.  We already keep the house at 58 during the night.  Wowza.

And I've been there BC, so frustrating, you just want them to share in your misery, but it is not like it would help.

I've never been hotter in my life.  It's ridiculous.  I'm glad that 90% of my preggo shirts are short sleeve or 3/4 length sleeve.  I've barely worn a winter coat this year.

Being pregnant was unbearably hot. Of course, it didn't help that that was the year we had a 100+ degree heat wave in the end of February/beginning of March, either. 104 and pregnant is just a punishment. <div>
</div><div>58 at night sounds lovely. I may turn the thermostat down tonight.  </div>
