So I am thinking of getting my sister (MOH) and my future step-daughter (BMd) this for a thank you gift to wear at the wedding (my FI and I also have something for both of them). 

The wedding is water themed and they're wearing shades of blue.  Thinking I'll look for something similar but smaller for family thank you gifts (1 sister is doing a reading, another taking care of the guest book, gifts, etc w/her daughters).

What kind of neckline will your MOH and your BM have on their dresses?

And how long is the pendant? 

You might want to make sure it's short enough to go with the dresses.

What are your colors again?

IMO, blue on blue (even though it will be different shades) might be a little much.  Do you have another wedding color that might work well in necklace form?

Pearl is the other color.  The necklines will be scoop and the pendant doesn't come that far down.  I wondered about too much blue....

You could do a pearl pendant.

I know I refused to give my girls the basic pearl necklace as a BM gift, because it's way too common imo.

But a pearl necklace in pendant form could be nice, also imo.  AND pearls still go with the "water" theme!

I've started looking up freshwater pearls (I like those better than the traditional ones).  Thinking earrings for all but the WP 2 (except my one niece who is a quadraplegic and can't wear them - she gets a bracelet).  And then earrings and necklace for the two. 

Something I hadn't even thought of was what jewlery for them to wear.  So many details!
