In short my FI parents will not be invited to the wedding. I just told my parents today. They do NOT like my FI.
I'm thinking we may be doing this thing without them there. Even though this pains me very much I can not change how I feel about him or wanting to spend my life with him.
Has anyone else done/is doing this solo?
I'm just trying to prepare for the worst, and hope for the best.

I dont need my parents to be ok. But it would be nice if they were there.

His parents are NOT invited. He doesnt speak to them at all. (it's his step mom and dad. his mother passed when he was 6)

My parents I just told today.
i would like to invite them and have their support but they hate him.
He and I have both made mistakes. They are having a hard time with seeing my mistakes and more look to blame him.
It will take time for them to see him for who he truely is. probaly not until after our wedding. So I'm preparing for them not to be at our aug. wedding.
