Do cats hump?

I've never seen a cat hump anything that wasn't another cat. Why are dogs so horny and cats aren't?

I haven't seen a cat hump for fun, either.  I thought with dogs it was more of just a domination thing.  Penny humps Stanley and the cat on a regular basis.  She is a female and was not around another dog that humped when she started doing it, so not a learned behavior.  It was some sort of domination instinct.

Our female cat sometimes humps H's balled up socks... but she's the strangest cat I've ever seen, so probably not representative.

The male cat grabs the female cat by the neck and sits on her.  No humping action, but she can't usually get away from him.
