I'm stumped so, as usual, I am asking WW for adviSe.
I have somehow ended up being responsible for writing a sponsorship document for a local professional conference. One-day conference, with all local speakers and local attendees.
I'm stumped on what kind of perks I can offer sponsors.
Gold sponsors get big logo placement, some free passes, a chance to give a short self-promotional talk.
Silver sponsors get medium-sized logos, fewer free passes, etc.
Bronze gets small logos, maybe 1 or 2 free passes.
What else can I offer them? Ideas include:
* logo presence on conference nametags
* availability of a vendor table to promote their business & hand out schwag.
* Specific sponsorship of breakfast, lunch, breaks, and cocktail hour
* maybe info placement on table tents?
Adding to this difficulty is the fact that the rest of the conference committee is FREAKING CHEAP and so is saying things like "IDK if we can afford table tents." Um, duh. You can if you get a sponsor for them!
Question 1 - what are some other things I can offer? Because right now, logo placement doesn't seem like a good reason for a company to shell out $$$ for us.
Question 2 - I will put in a poll, actually.
