KNOTTIE Bridal Bootcamp

Ok girls....

So I had mentioned this once before, but never followed up on it, but I am really serious about it now. haha. I think it would be awesome if we could get a group of us Knotties and do a bootcamp and my trainer is willing to do it for us. I had talked briefly with him before about it, but today I talked seriously with him and he said that if we can get at least 4 girls, me included in that, that he will do a bootcamp for us for just $15 a person and if we got more than four he would go down even more...but would probably not go below $10. What this would look like...It would be on the weekends for one hour each session. We could do Saturday and Sunday or just one day, but I think he would want us to commit to at least four weeks. He has mornings available and later afternoons. And we could meet at a park (he is a mobile trainer). I know many of the Knotties live in Kent as do I and there is a small park near me where him and I have trained before. But if there are knotties outside of Kent that are interested we could definitely do a central location.

Please let me know if you are interested and are serious about this. I really want to do this. 1) I need to really start dedicating more time to my fitness. 2) Its REALLY cheap and a great deal. 3) I think it would be so fun to do it with some of my fellow knotties! We are already such a great support system, that I think doing a bootcamp together would be awesome. We could push each other and help each other stay dedicated!

SOOOO Can I get at least three knotties to join me!?!?

    I would be interested, but I am really out shape right now so I don't know if I can keep up.  I'm south of Kent, but I could go to Kent on the weekends.

    Oh great!!!! Well I wouldn't mind going a little south either, but it would depend on others who were willing as well. My school is in Tacoma so I am used to driving out that way. And glad you would be interested in doing more than four weeks. Thats great!

    And he would modify it for each person. Also, most of the workouts (intervals) are timed so everyone can go at their own pace without feeling like they are not keeping up. So I wouldn't be worried about that. Plus, he will get you going and you will be doing better in no time. I have just been doing regular training with him for over six months now and I have come SOOO far....the past month and a half we were broke and couldn't afford him which really got me down and I didn't work out at all during that time. yesterday was my first day back with him and I am so sore, but I am almost starting from scratch again so itll be cool. AND We will be there to support you and cheer you on!

    Can we get two more!?

    I'm interested.  Depends on what time it would be and when it would start.  I'm noticing the closer I get to the wedding the busier my weekends get!  Plus I'm still doing my personal training sessions until mid May so I could start up like the 23rd or whatever Saturday that is in May.  Not saying that's when you guys would start, but that's when I would be able. :)

    Well he was saying real early would be best because then its out of the way for the day, which sounds like that would be perfect for you. Time he suggest for his schedule was a 7:45am start, done by 8:45am. Or, if we don't have early birds, more like a late afternoon about 3pm.

    I can do early.  I currently have my Saturday PT sessions at 7am in Kirkland so I know I can pull off 7:45 in the Kent area. :)

    Oh geez! That is early!!!!! I don't even think I could make myself wake up that early on a Saturday for anything! hahah. That is some dedication!

    Lol, well it's not much different than the weekdays really - I still wake up at 5:30.

    I am horribly out of shape but would definitely be interested.  I could do Kent on a Saturday or Sunday and early works best for me.

    So this is $15 per each Sat? I live in Kirkland, so if we did early, i wonder how EARLY I would have to leave, lol. But I am interested, would just like more info and see if anyone is willing to have a maybe more central spot? I don't want to put anyone out of their way though just for me to be closer. So let me know. Sounds fun though! And the support would be awesome!

    Brandy - I can tell you Sat am for me to get from Kent to downtown Kirkland takes me about 30-45 mins (depending on how many idiots there are on the freeway).  :)

    Yeah, that's about what I figured, and very true about the idiots on the road. I mean, I wouldn't have too much of a problem, crack a red bull and be good, but if anyone else wants central, I'm one voter for that. If not, I'll suck it up and drive!! :)

    Great!!!! So that gives us four for now and then five come May 22. I think Kent is probably best for everyone. BrandyL is Kirkland and Jennuinne is down south, so Kent actually is central I think.

    So a few questions...

    1.) When are you guys looking to start (besides tygirl)?

    2.) There is a park right near my apartment that works great for workouts. It is in Kent right of 104th & 248th called morrill meadows park. A little down from the target. Tygirl, does that sound good for you? Do you know of a better park in Kent?

    3.) Do you guys want to do just Saturday? or Saturday and Sunday? For just Saturday it would be $15. For Saturday and Sunday he will do it for $25.

    I could start ASAP.  I don't know if I could do both days, but up for either Sat or Sun.

Nope, sounds good to me.  If I recall correctly it has some parking available on the park, right?  Only other one I can think of would be Lake Meridian park since that has a fair amount of parking as well.  Morrill is on 248th like 200  yards east of 104th, right?

    3.) Do you guys want to do just Saturday? or Saturday and Sunday? For just Saturday it would be $15. For Saturday and Sunday he will do it for $25. I would prefer to do just Saturday due to A) $$ reasons and B) I'd like at least ONE day where I can sleep in. :)

    I could start next Sat, the 8th. Is that okay? Or is there a limit where he needs us right away? And I would rather do just Sat. Exact same reasons as Tygirl.

    I think the 8th would be good as well just because this Saturday is the GTG and I don't want you guys having to drive out here and then back to Bellevue later on or  at least in jennuinnes case...And just Saturday is fine. He doesn't care either way, he was just willing to do a bit of a discount if we did two days.

    Stil waiting to here from mma3....How is all this sounding for you mma? Saturdays at 7:45 at Morrill Meadows park, address 10600 S.E. 248th St, Kent, 98030 (oh and yes there is tons of parking! and never full), starting May 8th and $15/day. I think he will will at least two weeks paid at a time, or if you just want to pay 4weeks it will be a total of $60.

    Any others?! The more the merrier! :)
