It's like she stopped to pump in the middle of a liturgical dance.

I just saw that. I don't think I ever got to that state of inner peace when pumping.

Not really, I had rented a hospital pump and it was kind of loud. Pumping for me was a big chore with little reward. I didn't produce enough milk.

I giggle every time they sell those bras for that reason.

(although I swear my pump talks.  )

I was joking.  :) I had the same issues with pumping.

I made it almost 4 months, but then my supply tanked.

You joke, but the sound of my pump could put me to bed right.this.second.  The office I used for a long time was warm, quiet, phone-less and on the other end of the office.  Heaven, if you ask me.

I have napped during my pump/lunch break.

The let-down hormones make me sleepy and I was wrapped in a coat and in a comfy chair listening to the pump say 'tired, tired, tired, tired, tired" very softly and I just put my head on my desk for a second...

And I woke up 20 minutes later.  to some spilled milk :-P

I'd definitely close my eyes while pumping.  I fell asleep many times during night pumps.  I would usually close the front flap to mute the noise from the motor.

I don't think it was the pump, but more me and the anxiety of not producing. I didn't make it a month :( These old boobs of mine were just too lazy :0
