When I started my current job there were 2 women (C1 and C2) "supporting" the areas that I support. After they "trained" me, they were both laid off. C1 had been with the company for a couple of years and was a bit too slow and stupid to handle the work. C2 had been with the company for a long time, but was (literally) phonig it in for the past few years. They left a HUGE mess for me to clean up (that i'm still dealing with 1.5 years later).
I was telling one of my coworkers about D passing away (the former coworker i mentioned yesterday) and he mtold me that C2 died while I was out on leave.
*record scratch* "WHAT?!"
apparently C2 died in the bathtub - and the rumor mill was crazy when it was announced - drugs, alcohol, and suicide are the top 3 guesses.
