Wedding Woes

I'm amazed at

how many women on 1st tri don't have OB's.  They are adult women actively trying to conceive and don't have an OB.  One woman has a naturopath, but no OB.

I don't believe they all just relocated or something either.

Confession:  I didn't have an OB until I got pregnant.   It was on my 'to do' list, but I got knocked up waaaayyy quicker than I thought I would.

I never had one until recently...I didn't need anything that my GP couldn't give me.

And if my GP hadn't reccomended this practice...I dunno, I'd probably just have played darts w/ the phone book.

I only had an OB b/c my GYN was an OB, too.  However, I was not TTC.

My gyn is no longer an OB, which is very very sad for me.  I of course will ask her reco when it is TIME.

I had a GYN that was not an OB so I switched 2 years before we TTC so that I would be comfortable with the practice when I did get ku.

All my gynos have been OBs as well. I haven't come across one that wasn't.

I also switched OB/GYNs when I was about 7 weeks pregnant.

Don't even get me going on our healthcare system. I go to our GP for my annual exams, and then when/if I ever get pregnant I go to the "pregnancy clinic" where I may or may not get a doctor I even like.
