This dates back to last November, but we were all reminiscing at lunch today:

To:  Everyone in the office
Subject:  Christmas party

"Hello Everyone, I heard a few months back that the "newbies" do something at the Christmas Dinner. I was joking with Dr. [blank] that we would do a chicken dance since he was talking about [blank's] chickens while we were eating some birthday cake during an informal hallway celebration. I'm attaching a link to the chicken dance. We should all meet to discuss what everyone's ideas are on what we should do and also try to rehearse, determine clothes, etc., since it isn't far away! M, if we hold a group meeting, when would it be most convenient since you all have to be on the phone? While I am usually 1000% in favor of chicken dances, I find that they are best when spontaneous rather than carefully planned over office e-mail.
