Wedding Woes

Weekend plans?

Anyone doing anything fabulous?

I'm just trying to get through today. I had my first bout of nausea this morning. No puking, but some yucky feelings.

Then I have my U/S at 10:30 - UGH. I'll be relieved when that's over and I have some good news.

Then wrapping up the rest of the day, maybe going to the beach tomorrow, armed this time with SPF 75.

Nothing fabulous.  Cleaning and reading.  Maybe a good run tomorrow morning.  I really miss the roads.

No real plans.  DH and I need to get some stuff done around the house.  I may take most of tomorrow to clean out our closet, which has not been done in awhile.   I also need to go shopping for a formal dress to wear to this benefit I'm going to in 2 weeks.

Sunday, the kiddo is coming home.  My mom is going to bring him to our house and I think we're going to grill some steaks for dinner.

Next week, it's back to our normal routine.

Nothing special.  DH will have his head buried in a book all weekend, and DD and I will be going around him like he's a traffic cone.  (Not that I'm bitter or anything.)

Groceries tomorrow, "family time" sometime on Sunday where we'll take DD swimming or hiking or something.

This is the last day of our weight loss challange at church, and we are weighing in and haveing a gtg. Is it bad that I've only lost 8 lbs in 3 months? One lady has lost 34 lbs.

Hey, a lost is still a lost, right?

Sidenote: What do you bring to a weight loss gtg? It's not like I can roll up with cupcakes, and I'm sure the host will have a ton of fruit? Plus, it's church related so no boose.

I just bought our group leader a small gift, because I'm out of ideas.

veggies and dip would be good, or maybe some punch (it can be non-alcoholic) or if you want a gift for the group leader maybe some flowers?

I got her this cute key chain with a high heels on it. Our group's name is Divine Divas, so it kinda fits.

DH is on call so we're not planning anything.  I have a hair cut, but if he's stuck at work I need to cancel.

I love that NOLA spelled booze wrong. That is adorable.

H is going to have to go to school both days this weekend. So the time he isn't at school - he'll probably be doing chores.

I want to sleep until my face falls off. This week has been exhausting and next week is going to be even worse. Blagh!

We're having a band sleepover at the band house tonight. Hilarity will ensue.

For the rest of the weekend and the next two weeks, I'll be in furious paper-writing mode. A grand total of 40-50 pages.
