Aren't you ready to drop that kid any day now?

Good. Nervous. Went to the doctor today and I'm 1 cm and thinned, head is low. Inconsistent, non-painful contractions for the last few days, mostly at night. Doc says she doubts I'll make it to my appointment next Wednesday (due date is this Friday).

My primary source of anxiety right now is that both houses are a complete mess, and Mom shows up on the 2nd. I just don't have it in me to listen to her tell me how sloppy and unorganized I am. So I'm on a mad dash to get everything done, and hoping baby stays in so I don't burn two days in the hospital when I could be painting/cleaning/packing.

Yes, I know this is completely crazy.

It is completely crazy. Even if it takes a little longer because she's here, it'll all get done.

That's so exciting!  I hope you have an easy delivery and your mom bites her tongue.

I was very blessed when FIL and sMIL came to help they actually HELPED.  sMIL cooked a huge meal every night so we'd have leftovers when they were gone.  She cleaned every window and floor and everything in between.  FIL took care of a lot of little projects and helped keep us feed and did dishes.
