And I'm going to hang out here. Unless IT blocks it but enough other people in this office have access to FB when we aren't supposed to that I am hoping to squeak by for the next two months.

Either way I no longer give a f*ck  about trying to be a good little employee. Found out last week my job is gone at the end of the year, making my employment here gone as well and the amount of effort it takes to care is just to much atm.
 
So... whats been going on here? I've checked in every now and again but it was random and sporadically so I'm sure I missed everything.

Yeah, I don't think it would be so bad but I'm only being let go because of my boss. Boss and HR lady do not get along and so HR lady is letting the entire payroll department go and hiring new (I was told this off the record, as a consolation from an HR employee, thanks that makes me feel so much better. :eyeroll:). We get to stay until the new people are hired and trained then we are gone.

It sounds like HR lady really sucks at her job.  I'm pretty sure that firing people then asking them to train their replacements is on a "don't" list somewhere in a book she was supposed to read along the way.

Aw, that sucks. How is she managing to replace the entire department without someone else asking why? You'd think there has to be an official reason she is giving...lame one too I bet.
