The Duckling and M might share a birthday. I'm thinking joint party!

Re: ~TD~

  • Haha! What's M's birthday? The Bump tells me my EDD is January 27. Also, the bump is seriously stupid.
  • 1/14 but my EDD was 1/24

  • Yeah, my only experiences over there so far have been mocking the AP and Single Parents boards. But oh my god, 1st tri and my month board are just straight insanity. I feel like every other post is "I feel fine and my doctor says I'm fine, but do you, strangers on the internet, think I'm having a miscarriage?"
  • The bump is full of so much stupid, it's not even funny.

Oh and as your 'baby shower' gift, I'm totally getting you either a Moby wrap so you can wear the baby or a co-sleeper.  And an AP book. Wink
  • Hey... there is NOTHING wrong with a Moby.

And I gave in and bough M a Sophie the Giraffe. It just came and I can't wait to see her with this over-priced dog toy.

  • Actually I really want a Moby. ::hangs head in shame:: I feel like it's justified because I want it so I don't have to drag a stroller out everywhere I go, not because I want my kid strapped to me 24/7.

    No co-sleepers, though.
  • TD, since you live in CA, you can pretty much do anything that might be "off kilter" and be seen as "normal".  So MOBY away!

  • The Moby is a Godsend. I actually rarely have the stroller out. Use the Moby of the Bjorn.

I'm doing the happy dance in my seat!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE (xeleventybillion) my Moby.  DefConn HATES being in his car seat for too long.  If I wrap him up in the Moby, he conks out and mama can shop as long as her heart desires.  I also have folded laundry and done dishes while he was in it because he wouldn't stop being a fussy butt.

I have a sling (from seven slings) and I'm not a fan of that.  Damn them and their "only pay shipping" offer.

But don't worry TD, you'll be getting that AP newsletter I signed you up for.  ;)
