DH bought a few things to replenish stuff last night.  He put them in the garage freezer and we went about our business.  I just went to get some chicken nuggets and the freezer isn't working!  There goes another $10 in gorceries.

I told my mom I might need a beer after all of this, but was worried since baby is still developing.  Her response, "Let's just say I had more than the occasional beer with you.  You turned out ok."

And this is why I didn't want a deep freeze.  They are all crap!

It's actually just a second frig the old owners left with the house.  DH was all "it was working last night."  aaaaaand?  The frozen food is mush and your beer is warm.

Ours lost power 3 days before Dex was born. THAT was fun. 

It wasn't dead, though. IIRC, the breaker in the basement flipped for some reason.

Hope you get something reliable soon. Freezer meals will be your best friend soon, I think.

Zsa,they're not all crap. Our chest freezer only went out once - when we had to put it in the garage in Phoenix in May. Soon as we moved it back inside, it worked fine, and has done ever since.
