Product rave (so far)

For the past three days, I've been trying that new Body Shop antiperspirant deodorant that has no parabens or aluminum, and I can't smell any BO on myself.  If I do smell like a big foot, my loved ones are keeping mum about it.  So, thumbs up to a cruelty-free, supposedly safe pit product that isn't just deodorant.

Hmm. interesting.  Lately, I can't walk from work to the parking garage without starting to sweat.  I made the dastardly mistake of not using clinical-strength deodorant last week and seriously regretted it.  I wonder if this would work. Or at least work for winter.

I'm not, really.  But the paraben-free products always seem to be aluminum-free too, which makes for stinky, wet pits.

thank goodness.  i was about to start crying that a scientician such as yourself might believe that.  i know a biochemist who freaks out about people standing in front of the microwave, which makes me wonder if she's not a very good biochemist.

This conversation reminds me of the knottie (nestie?) who freaked out a couple of years ago when she found out her meat was irradiated.  Like it was the same as eating enriched uranium or something.

Isn't baby powder all-those-things free, too? I don't get the need for specialty products, and then you get to smell like lavender.

Works like a charm, Kuus, better than actual antiperspirant/deodorant with all those chemicals and whatnot. And I can use it all over, unlike other stuff, which seems to react weird on different parts of my body and doesn't work well with friction (like from underwires).

Huh.  I used to try the baby powder thing some years ago, but my family informed me that it was not doing the trick.

I'm not very smelly to begin with - I can usually go without anything in the winter and not have a noticeable odor. So it might just be me, but it definitely helped with the actual sweating when I lived in PHX - the powder didn't prevent, but it did absorb, and that kept me and my clothes dry for most of the day, even at 110+.

It also helps when you're lazy as fluck and sit around inside on your chairass most days.
