Wedding Woes

So excited!

DH just sold a bunch of D&D miniatures for a sh!t ton of money.   My excitement is two-fold:
1.  The minis are out of our house.
2. Looks like we're going on vacation!!!!!!!!

Don't know.   We're going to have to start doing some research.   Any suggestions?   It would need to be toddler-friendly and doable in a long weekend (Thurs. night - Monday) so that we don't use up too many vacation days.

Are you thinking beachy?  Cause, that might be rough, but I'm sure there is stuff around Cleveland.  Pittsburgh is a nice long weekend.  They have a COSI type, zoo, a free aviary that is nice.

We're thinking of hitting Indy for our long weekend.  They have a great kid's museum, zoo, and not too pricey all around.

We just did Pittsburgh for a wedding in April, so that's out.

Indy sounds good, and we can stop by my college campus on the way.   I have heard awesome things about Indy's children's museum.

A long weekend in Cincy might be fun, too.

And I'm going to look into some places up on Lake Erie.   That might be fun.  Any recs, 6?

Hmmm........   I'm off to Expedia to see what is out there!

Oh yes, and our Children's Museum is tres excellent!

So is downtown Indy.  It's small and really cute.

If you want restaurant recs, let me know.  :)

I went to grad school @ IU Bloomington & didn't spend a ton of time in Indy but I did go to the zoo when my parents visited& it was great.  We also went to the INDY 500 track & museum because my dad's big into car racing & I actually thought it was pretty neat.  Totally doable with a toddler.

    Score!

And yay for coming to Indy! Maybe I can send you home with a puppy too ;)

My schedule is pretty flexible for GTGs ;)

Eva and I would love a puppy, but DH would give that a big, fat NO!   :(

If we do Indy, we'll definitely have to figure out a GTG.
