Should I ask?

Yesterday, I received a message from my cousin saying eight people are coming to my wedding. I have 5 adults and 1 child. I'm wondering who are the 2 extra people. I brushed it off last night but it's been bugging me all day. Do you think I should ask now or wait until i recieve her offical rsvp? Ugh I think this whole RSVP thing is going to be a pain. I wish we could tell people: we are paying x/per person and I'm on a budget!

I think it's fine to ask. You have the right to be curious and it's better to know now than to put it off.

I think you should ask. Especially if people were invited by name. You could always tell your cousin that you need the names so that you can make the seating chart, which is true. Personally, I can't understand why someone would think a wedding invitation was an open invitation, since I thought most people understood that you pay per person.

Hahahaha! Sometimes I wish I could say this too. Like my mom, even though she does know...can you believe one of my cousins I wasn't planning on inviting, walks into her pediactrics office yesterday so she goes ahead and invites him. And he actually said he's been saving money so he will probably be able to buy a plane ticket! This is the 5th time she does this already! Smh! Time to cut mom off LOL

I agree with Sara, ask and say you need names for your seating chart. GL! Hope you don't run into this anymore :
