One of my IRL BFFs had a baby girl about two hours ago.  Evelyn Theresa, 6 lbs, 15oz.  I can't wait for pics!

I'm only sad that she didn't hold off until after midnight.  Little Evie's Mama's very favorite movie ever is Friday the 13th. I was really hoping for a boy born on Friday the 13th and named Jason. 

Someone please put a spending limit on the baby clothes that I buy to send her in the next week.  They didn't find out the sex before so everyone gave them non-clothing gifts at the shower and they have very few clothes thus far.   I get to buy girl clothes!!  Squeee!

Go to Target and get the Carter's on sale stuff. You have a $75 cap. The sale stuff is sometimes there for like $2 so you can get PLENTY of stuff.

I'd also say a $75 limit, and within that $75, get her a really girly summery dress!

I love the name, too.  She said I was one of the few people who hadn't turned my nose up when she told them, so she quit telling.  I guess those other people don't understand that the world can't be 100% filled with Kehnnydis and Kaydehns and some babies just need to have good old normal names.

I saw on FB that two old college friends had babies born today, too.  They named them Daniel and Nathaniel.  May 12th shall be the day of good baby names!

the name is NMS (just strikes me as too "old lady") - but i'm happy that she gave her daughter a normal name. Check Target and or Kohl's clearance, both have a ton of cute girl stuff for cheap.

Yaaaay!  I like the name.  Hit the sales- I got oodles from Kohl's (love2save30 for 30% off and free shipping over $75).  If you want, go to some place nicer and splurge on one nice outfit and fill in.
