My mom's memory........

I'am getting married in March 2011, and my mom just passed this February,, she died of a stroke,and we were the best of friends as well as mother and daughter, in fact before she died she was helping me plan my wedding.Although my wedding won't  be what I dreamed it would be,because my best friend is gone.(sorry about being so talkative) my question is what is a very special way of bringing my mother's memory into the wedding ceremony?

some people will set up pictures of relatives that have passed, say a special prayer, have a flower arrangement, or save a seat for that person. it really depends on how you want to honor her memory. 

you could also wear a piece of her jewelry or incorporate it into your bouquet, as a private way to remember her.

I'm sorry for your loss.  I think Duckis covered most everything.  I wore my grandma's perfume.  We also had a something in the program and we said a prayer.

Just know that there isn't much you could do wrong in this situation.

I'm really sorry about your mom.  I had my nephew carry a candle down the ailse in honor of my father.  It was on a small table next to the alter while we did our vows.

I don't know if anyone is still reading this board, but I'm in a similar situation. My mom died three weeks ago of a heart attack in her sleep. She too, was my best friend, and  I found her notebook where she was taking notes of the wedding planning.

Part of me wants to elope, and the other part of me wants to finish it, and incorporate her memory into the ceremony. All the suggested ideas were really helpful, and if I can get it together to actually focus and pull off a vegas destination wedding, I'll definitely use those suggestions.

I'm truly sorry for your loss, TCFOX..and thank you for your post. It gives me hope that maybe I can do this.
