My grandfather likes those. And Indian nuts. He's 86, rolls his own cigarettes and drinks scotch, so maybe there's something to it.

Most nuts are high-fat, aren't they? Because of the oils in them, but the oils are where a bunch of the good stuff is, too, isn't it? Like vitamins and sht?

I dunno. I just eat what tastes good.

Nuts usually are pretty fattening, but it's the fat that protects your heart. They also have a lot of protein in them too.

Yea but these far exceed macadamias, which are considered to be a pretty fatty nut.

    Nuts are my lunch.

Yea, I think I could eat my weight in those. But I'd look like I've been playing in the dirt.

Brazil nuts are not hazel nuts.

    Brazil nuts:

I do agree about Nutella. Except I buy the World Market brand, which is way cheaper. Slightly less stiff too.

I'm not sure. I think Brazil nuts are in their own category. I think filberts and hazelnuts are the same though. So you weren't way off.

I have fond memory of receiving nuts in my christmas stocking.

    hee.
