I was at 1400 words and I need to hit 2000.  Just passed 1500.  Have not resorted to discussing kittens yet, but I will if necessary.

Mostly, I'm just posting this to motivate myself.  Like passing the mile marker in a 5K or something.  "1500 down, only 500 to go!  You're 3/4 of the way there!"

    Maybe you should rewrite the whole thing in Miss Teen SC's language.  Six dozen "such as"es alone would add 144 words.

    Oh, believe me, zsa, half of my new sentences begin with "For example."  It's such a short walk from there to "such as, such as, such as."  But my pride is out the window at this point.  I've set a personal goal to wrap this up once and for all today, and I no longer care how I get there.
