this is how pathetic i am....

i was playing on the bump, with http://www.thebump.com/calculators/ChineseGenderChart.aspx and my ideal conditions (pregnant 1 yr after the wedding).....

a little cartoon baby popped up and said "hi mom"....i cried. yes, i'm pathetic, and itching for a baby.

ps.. my coworker is prego and she went on thebump and said the girls on there are b!tches and anything you say they say that you're starting MUD and being dramatic. This poor girl was talkinga bout how her and her DH were TTC for over a year and it wasn't working and she was just so upset and the girls were like, you're making this up, you're a loser, you're not even married! what jerks!

wow she should have went to the seattle board. thats where i sometimes post and they all seem to be nice. Alot are really helpful. It The seattle board is so fast paced though its hard for me keep up.

I'm a member on www.diaperswappers.com they have TONS of forums and you can Buy and sell gently used cloth diapers. Anyways there is tons of great women and heaping piles of awesome advice. It's free to join!!!!!! I go on there all the time....FI and I want babies SO bad!

That sounds like a national boards to me. The Seattle Bumpies have been very welcoming and inviting. I've been lurking for a while and posting for a few weeks and I have yet to see a snarky or mean post on the board. They seem really supportive, and several are really funny. I really like the Seattle board.

As a constant lurker and sometimes poster, if you're talking about on the Seattle board, that was a particularly nasty troll that pops up every few months. If you look at her previous posts, they are all just like that and she posted on different boards too. Not very many posts, but all nasty ones.)

All of the regular ladies from the Seattle Bump are super awesome and hilarious, and would never treat someone that way.

Jenn, was it a boy or a girl?  

I have totally used that gender predictor before (I put it in for my brother & team green friend and it was right both times!).  I wanted to see what the Chinese think I'd have if I got my honeymoon baby...

And to go along with what everyone else says, I've lurked on the Seattle Bump for ages, and they all seem really cool.  Kind of like us.

That gender predictor thing seems pretty accurate, since it's supposed to be 90% accurate. My mom did it and it was right for all 4 of her kids, and MIL did it too and it was right for all 3 of hers.

I've heard the bumpies are crazy in general. I have to say I've seen some crazy posts brought over to the nest where it seems like many posters in a thread are straight up looney tunes (not just a crazy OP). But I'm sure the local boards are tamer.

Ok, I take it back.  The Seattle Bumpies ARE snarky.  I finally came out of the woodwork to try to share some tips with a very frustrated mom (like I did here with Alyssa a while back), and a different mommy snarked all over me!  Boo, I guess I'll just have to keep my baby fever here, even when I'm an OMH...
