At company xmas party I was seated next to the VP, my manager, my senior manager, the guy who cubes next to me and this super smart dude (SSD). SSD used to be the head of the dept, is wicked smart, is even on company website.
Anyway....we get to talking about Anthony Bourdain, which lead the coversation to SSD and me talking about working in restaurants.
My senior manager asked what we learned from working in restaurants. I told him never to mess with anyone handling your food and that a dry towel is a hot commodity.
SSD says, without missing a beat, "People who work in restaurants do a lot of coke."
It's funny because it's true. Especially those back of house fvcks.
