in Wedding Woes

I have only ever grilled corn on the cob.  Given the rainy weather, I thought I'd boil it tonight.

I was just planning to boil water and drop in the corn.  I saw a recipe that adds sugar the the water.

Do you add anything to the water?

    I never add anything to the water.  I just drop and boil.   I usually turn the water off after a few minutes and cover them.  They cook up just fine.
