Small wedding vent

I am stressed. Having a smaller wedding (under 50 people) is tough because even adding 5 people makes a big difference. We orginally thought we would have about 35 people but now we think it will be more like 50. We had already put the deposit down on a house with a yard to have the outdoor reception and now I am not sure it is big enough.. plus not sure if it will even be warm in November here in Los Angeles.. I am so tired of looking for reception locations!! I have spent hours and hours and hours and I just want to move on to the fun stuff. Plus we are having engagement photos shot today and I am scared I wont look good in them. UGH!!! Plus living in Los Angeles everything is so expensive and I see what other people are paying for things on different sites and it is like 2X that here! ugh ugh!!  I think this wedding will be about 15K for only 50 people!

2. Doesn't the LA weather vary from like 73 oto 76 degrees all year, with 0.001 inches of rain? I think you'll be fine. You only  have to spend as much as you want to spend.  Don't want to drop $15k? Don't. Pick a budget you are comfortable with, then plan your wedding around it.

3. Just make sure you have an open bar.

First,,Take a deep breath!!!  Planning weddings are fun, but also stressful.  Remember not to worry about things you don't have control over..like the weather!   My daughter is having a small wedding too...and the expense could be just as much!   take it a day at a time and enjoy your wedding!!!

If you're really that upset and done with wedding planning, you could always elope...  some people think it's a dirty word--for others, it's divine inspiration.  Besides, think of all the money you'll save.  If eloping isn't for you (and it's not for everyone), take a deep breath and know that you're putting yourself through this because you WANT to.    Happy planning or eloping.
