Wedding Woes

getting down the aisle...

So I'm not usually an emotional person, but I know that there's no way I'm getting through my wedding without being a sobbing mess. From the moment I see him at the altar waiting for me, I just know that the waterworks are going to open up...any tips on keeping my composure through this huge day??

You may be surprised at yourself.  Everyone staring at you has a way of making it less emotional and more awkward.

Stick a pin in your thigh. The pain ought to distract you. HTH!

I am terrifed of the same thing and at the same time I feel like if I hold it in that people will think I am heartless for not being emotional!!

I also wear contacts and crying in them makes me not able to see in them!

You'll be surprised. I sob over sad commercials, but I made it through my wedding day with minimal tears. I had a moment when I put on my veil, and choked up ever so slightly during one line of the vows. Neither incident was enough to even smudge my makeup.
