advice about breaking baby news to in-laws
My husband and I have two children, son who'll be 3 in Feb, Daughter who'll be 1 in March. We were planning on having a third child when our DD would be 2 or 3 but we got a surprise, I'm 9 wks pregnant and my IL, specifically the women, are of the opinion that the only thing to use is contraseptives and all (3 SIL and MIL) have had thier tubes tied after having thier children (all before the age of 40). And were big into asking me if my husband and I are having more kids and if we're doing anything in between to keep it from happening. My fam is dif on the issue all of my fam's women have used the ovulation method or cycle method and there's 3 years(give or take) in between me and my three siblings. We used that successfully between our first two. Tho other thing w/ having another baby now is we are still having some hard financial times, where we had rent my ILs guest house and we have a small car and no money to buy a mini van now to haul 3 kids. My fam sees it as if God at this time is allowing you to have another baby then He will also provide for that baby as well. I'm not sure how to tell his fam and so far we're waiting till I'm 3 mos, by then there'll be no denying it. Any advice on how to best approach this, wanting not to cause any disrupt between us?
