Let the past be the past, and be thankful that someone who is, it appears, okay with break up/make up/break up/make up did not talk her best friend and your fiance into getting together.

Only 3 years?  Then I'd stand my groud.  Actually, I probably would anyway.  People I don't like aren't worth $350 a head.

So - you invited him by himself, or with a +1? If it was by himself, just tell him that adding someone won't be possible. If it was with a guest, I'd suck it up and just ignore her.
