When I have kids I'm going to drive to the other side of town so they can take a picture with a black santa.


I have been known to paint the face of an angel brown.


I seem to be racial with my holiday decorations.

That is all.

I have 3 nativities, but I wanted to buy a new one the other day because the people in it were black. 

Is that bad?

It's the same, IMO. I think it's normal to like some things that look like you.

Yes, I had white dolls and things, but I always had more black dolls, than white.

That's ossum, Hmo. 

We also add dinosaurs and robots to our nativities. We like to get everyone involved.

And Bmom- the dinosaurs made me chuckle, because you know they were around during Jesus' time.

I think that was the reasoning behind adding them in the first place. My mom also has a little JPII figure with outstretched arms at just the right angle to hold one of the baby Jesuses.
