can i ask you questions about the wedding?  because i have many of them.

so this is sil, yes?  and you were happy about her getting married, no?  and you are moh.  and weren't you going to pay for part of this wedding, too?

    so she is totally tripping now and wants a princess bridal shower to match her princess wedding?

    how are the ils freaking out?  are they all up in your business, asking you how you paid for it and comparing it to their precious little angel?

    You know, they're staying away from me for the most part.  Even when they were butting in to the shower, MIL told FIL he had to be the one to tell me they were taking over, because she wouldn't do it.

    Not really, no, which made the shower thing more surprising.  She's doing a lot of DIY stuff, and saving money by having the ceremony and reception at the same place.  I do think she will look like a princess, though  :)

    how many guests?  how long have they been dating?

    how many showers is she going to have?  i assume your shower, and then a small work shower ... are there more?

    I think it's just the one shower, but I have been fooled before.  The one thing that is raising everyone's eyebrows is that they've been together a little over a year now, and they've been planning this wedding for about a year, so yeah, they started the planning after dating for three months.

    Kuus - she is on her second kid. Same M.O. Get guy. Date for three months. Get pregnant. Move in with guy.

    I'm all freakin butthurt about it, but it doesn't really affect my life, so I need to get over it.
