Also need aisle decor help (Long w/lots of PIPs)

Last summer I saw the following pics in a bridal magazine and fell in love with the look of the curvy aisle which is how ours will be set up:

There will be flower petals in a mix of wine red, light lavender, and white rose petals lining the aisle on each side.  The altar area is:

On each side where the grass meets the terra cotta cement I plan to put the 2 baskets I bought with petunia hanging baskets on them:

We went to Carpinitos today to buy 6 baskets - the two in the pic for the altar and 4 to dot along the curvy aisle, each sitting on a stand-up basket rented from the florist:

Well, while at Capinitos, FI pointed out how large the baskets are (about 24-30" in diameter) and now I'm not so sure about using them along the aisle.  Partially due to size and partially due to logistics of trying to get 6 large baskets to and from the venue.  Another option is instead of renting the standup baskets, renting 4 white columns and putting potted flowering plants on top of each. I don't want to waste a ton of flowers by having them cut just for this one day despite the fact that I'm having bouquets, bouts, etc.  Our CPs are bowls  that will be on 3 monstera leaves with river rocks and each bowl will have 2-3 floating candles and 3 orchids:

I like organic sort of feeling things when it comes to flowers which I guess is why I like the idea of live plants, if that makes sense?  Anyway, hoping my fellow Knotties might have some input or ideas.  TIA!

Why can't you just get smaller baskets?

Honestly, there aren't any there.  And the ones I looked at McLendon's while we were there were about the same size.  Not to mention trying to get 4 baskets of the same flower in the same color (I was going to go with white for the aisle to keep it easy).  It's odd - you look at the baskets from below and think "oh that's not too bad/big" until you get them down and it's like "wow."  The baskets with other types of flowers I really wasn't a big fan of - they all seemed kind of spindly.  I will keep looking for smaller ones - going to check out Fred Meyer and Home Depot, but trying to come up with alternatives if I cannot find smaller ones.

I like all your ideas and think potted plants would be fine.  I think I'm going to do that around the alter area.  Like in the second picture?

Yes, I totally love the look of the potted plants.  I wouldn't get plants so large, though, which is why I was thinking of getting the columns (like 3-4' high) to put the potted plants on.

Well, you could buy your own plants and make your own mixed baskets! Also, maybe try Mulbaks?

If you go with big ones, I will be happy to drive them to your venue in my SUV.  I think those flower baskets are so pretty!
