Jealousy

**O-Face**

So Bro and his GF applied for a local housing grant that would get them up to 25% of a downpayment on a new build home with a qualified contractor in the program.  They qualified and are going ahead with it. 

I am very excited for them.  Though honestly, I do get a little chapped at the fact that they might have a nicer home than H and I when they're younger and just...well see here's where the jealousy comes in.

And then H says, "do you think I'm jealous?". 

And I know he very rarely is. 

I guess I'm just a jealous person, but I most often admit it, even to the person I'm jealous of.  Just becuase it gets it out there, and hopefully will go away.

I hate jealousy.

i get it.  of all the siblings, only dh and i do not own a house.  sometimes it gets to me (it REALLY gets to our parents) but really, it's on us.  and we decided it wasn't a big deal, so we can't be jealous of something that we don't have.

Meh...it happens. I'm jealous of some aspects of my sister's life, but then again, she has a BF who has anger management issues and shoves her. *I* wouldn't pay the price she does for her lifestyle. We all make choices, and then there is luck, too. The market was different when you were buying and at their age.

Agreed MinM. I try to remember to be thankful for what I have rather than pine for what I don't.
