been MIA on a kayak in Kauai

had freakin BLAST, but im back in the loop now. Looking forward to catching up on posts!

got SOOO many checks done whileon Oahu

-Met musician
-Cake tasting and redesigned cake
-(Bottom: guava with lilikoi, middle: Coffee, top: Chocolate Nutella with amaretto)
-2nd meeting with Venue, they have decor basics that I can use. Im going to do the butterflies ala Nieman Marcus in the skylight above the dance floor.
-Bought MOH dress!! Its soo cute and matches my peacock linens (sounds tacky, but it actually works)
-Semi-planned Bachelor/Bachelorette party (i realise i am a control freak, but this way, I can include everybody that I want there)
-Shopped around florists and decided I will DIY.
-Met with Officiant (a good friend) and wrote out with a detailed ceremony program
-Found the Tux shop we are going to use, just gotta have FI pick one out now.

First, here I am super stressed and brain dead and you've been KAYAKING in KAUAI while planning. :P
Second, GREAT checks!!!! Ooo, butterflies in the skylight!! I haven't been in ages, but they had that in the entrance area at the Baltic Room and I just loved to watch them float and lazily move in the light air currents by the ceiling. What's lillikoi?

KST, lilikoi is Hawaiian for passion fruit.

And can I just say that I want to crash this wedding?

KST: yeah its a bit tart and lemony so it will work well to contrast the sweetness of the guava.

Jenny: you sure can :) I think I even got the musician excited about the wedding.
