i thought of you this morning.
i was at a majeur intersection, and traffic was starting to back up in all four directions. i was turning right, and the lane was clear, so i went. after i made the turn, i saw the cause of the holdup in my rear-view mirror.
a little old lady was crossing the street (all four lanes) using her walker. she took the entire signal length to make one turn, and then she started across the street and again took the entire signal length to make the other turn.
