Wedding Woes

s/o birthdays

Do you ever hear someone's age and think "Dayum!"  Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not.  Dh's step-cousin (?) has a bday today.  I never in a million years would have guessed we were within 3 wks of age.  I always thought she was several years older than me.

Re: s/o birthdays

  • H's cousin's wife has spent a lot of time in the sun but I would have guessed she was just an extra brown late 50s (and that was being generous knowing that the leatheriness was making her look older).  And then she mentioned something that she had planned for her 50th.  Oooooh, not good.

Meanwhile the first time I met his aunt I would have guessed 60 something and I was shocked that she was over 80.

Or maybe I am just really terrible at guessing ages.  <--very possible

  • I'm awful at guessing ages, zsa.

But yes, I'm sometimes shocked by how young or old someone really is.
  • We've been finding out choir members' birthdays, and we've been shocked by how old everyone is. We all look good - one gal's 37, and I wouldn't have put her much over 25, seriously.
