Wedding Woes

How weird would it be if you were told you were having a girl, but upon delivery the doctor announce

Not that everyone would say, "Put it back!!!!" But if you really wanted to know the sex to plan and prepare, then the outcome was different than originally expected. (All people don't "have" to know this. Most planner types prefer it.)

This happend to my BIL and his first wife. (Their first/only child together. My sister's step-son.)

Just a random thought about finding out the sex at 20 weeks.

Anyone who thinks that finding is 100% accurate is a dingbat.

We saw the twig & berries loud and clear both times, and I still wasn't 100% confident about it until they were born.

What is nonsense about it? It happened IRL to someone and I made mention of it.

I would tell the doctor that he better march his ass into the nursery and find me a baby of the sex he told me I was having. And it better be a cute baby, too.

i know, right?  she's a lateral move from "are cheese sticks safe?" and "if i wear a thong, will it strangle my baby?"

I am the biggest, most neurotic, OCD planner in the universe - and I don't wouldn't want to know the gender of my baby.

You need to check your sweeping generalizations at the door, dude.

It's never going to be accurate.

But what I find strange is that we are exactly the same time along.

I did not say ALL PLANNERS MUST KNOW. If I did, it would be sweeping.

Excuse if you feel you were added into that lump.

True. My wording was not the best. Obviously, because it made someone say the thong thing. That's redonculous. I wasn't trying to cause a pop off. I'm really not up for it. With the m.s. and all.

They said it just really wasn't expected and were very happy to have a healthy baby. BIL went out and bought a few (non-pink) things and they just went from there. Not that their lives were ruined or anything. Guess it came off wrong. I dunno.

Morning sickness. It's true it's not just the mornings. 24/7. Don't get me wrong, we are both so happy that I am pregnant. It's just exhausting puking all day and night long. Not much I can at work for it. (Only thing that helps is to be asleep. <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-frown.gif" border="0" alt="Frown" title="Frown" />)

Why would it be weird anyway? A surprise? Sure, but weird?

Another, stop reading any pregnancy books now. Or just pick one. SIL read everything out there. I wish I had a nickel for everytime she asked ME if bottle feeding would give her kids crooked teeth. I wouldn't have to worry about finding a full-time job.
