Wedding Woes

::C&S::

There is a place on Harry Hines just east of UTSW (beyond Exchange Park) called Amigos. It is right past the hospital where Harry Hines starts to get scary, so you'll think you want to avoid it, but it is really good mexican food.

Also, there is a place called Grandpa Tony's that has the best Chille Relleno near that area as well. I forget how to get there, now.

  • Thanks for the suggestions.  I love some good Mexican / Tex-Mex.

    Ever been to Matt's in Lakewood?  (Right next door to the Lakewood Theatre)  Two words: Bob Armstrong.  Best. Appetizer. Ever.

  • No. I'm not really big n Mexican - so you know if I recommend a place, it's saying something. We're not in the Dallas area anymore, either. We relocated for H's school.

  • They may not be as good as they used to be, but there was a Zuzu's right across the street from the campus and I used to LOVE their chicken salad.
  • Gotcha.  Well I guess living here and not being into Mexican food is a good thing for you.  I have to learn to avoid it.  Tex-Mex is the reason Texas has some of the fattest cities in the country.

  • There is a Zuzu's right by my apartment.  It's pretty good.  Their food tastes really fresh.
