My sister did this, and it didn't work. She said they didn't last long and there was glitter all over her apartment.

I'd imagine you'd need a clearcoat topseal that was 'better' than modpodge

I did want some Steve Madden glitter shoes last year. But they were very special occasion, not everyday deals.

And yes, the shoes this person used were fug. And the lace stockings? WTF?

Still, I'm encouraged that this is a possibility. I can see other applications for this technique. Maybe.
