Need ideas on reception venues

Hi everyone!

I'm looking for ideas on reception venues to check out in and around Philadelphia.  I'm thinking somewhere between $100-$130pp or so.   I've been engaged for a week and am trying to get moving on finding a location :-)  Anyone have some favorites that they want to share?

We are having ours at the Ballroom at the Ben..if you have it on a Friday or Sunday its 130 pp. It can be lower depending on the time of the year..Good Luck!

Thanks teacup!  That's actually less than I expected for the Ben.  Is it inclusive of taxes and gratuity?

Yes and also includes your cake I thin we were quoted 160 for a Saturday in June or September.

what kind of venue do you want?  Historic mansion?  Modern?  Country Club? Rustic?  Garden?

I would suggest giving Celebrations another thought. Their service and attention to detail during the planning process was wonderful.

We are having our reception at the Meadowlands Country Club in Blue Bell. It is in your price range and has a beautiful reception area, gorgeous ballroom, colorful gardens, fabulous dessert package,and you have the place to yourself.
