Wedding Woes

The problem with a normal weather state...

is that everyone else also thinks 90 and sunny isn't good zoo weather. So they wait for a day like today - cloudy and 65 - to go, and then there's no parking by the time the second-shifters show up.

<sigh> Oh well. I told Bacon we'd get up early and try tomorrow; failing that, we can go next week with my 'rents and just be sweaty.

All I hear is something about KFC.

BMom- my parents just got back from a week in Frisco, Co.  They loved it out there.

I haven't been that far west, 6, but I have to say, moving here was probably the best decision we've made so far. It's a really gorgeous place to live. We're super lucky.

And mmmm...pudding. I might have to try to whip some up now.

They went to Breckenridge, Vail, saw an abandoned mine and kayaked in Lake DIllon.  I still think it's funny they traveled with a guy and stayed with his ex-wife.  The guy just broke up with his boyfriend.

cloudy and 65 is perfect zoo weather -  perfect for most outdoor activities, actually. I'm going to LOVE "winter" in Houston - this is the exact weather the natives were complaining about in Feb (TOO COLD?!) when i was down there taking a break from the 4 ft of snow on our PA lawn.

Bacon, I had to spend the night in Denver because of the bad weather on Sunday night. It was a bad end to a great trip. Frontier is the suck.

Sunday - sunday - OH, when we got rained out of the fireworks. Yeah, actually, I wouldn't have flown out in that - not towards Texas. It was prime tornado weather.

I would have offered a guest room, if we had one. :(
