Wedding Woes

Poll re: workplace dramz

Assume that you work in boring cube office environment (not in an air traffic control tower) and you notice a co-worker napping at her desk.  This is not an ongoing issue, it's the first time you've seen it.  She does not have a cot under her desk, just fell asleep while doing her super boring job.

If we have a decent relationship, I'd probably  wake her up and tease her about it.   I certainly wouldn't tell her boss  - - unless I hated her and wanted her fired - - if it were a one time thing.

I used to fall asleep at one of my old jobs while I was doing some mindless data entry.   It was painful.

So, backstory, please?   DId someone tell on you?

I work at home.  No one is here to see me sleep!

But this happened in my office.  A woman fell asleep and another lady took her picture and e-mailed it to my boss (so actually, she didn't just e-mail it to sleeping lady's boss, she e-mailed it three levels up).  I think this is terribly rude.  But I have a soft spot for sleeping lady.  I used to supervise her and I know she has a really rough life outside of work and maybe has some mild cognitive issues that keep her from performing at the highest level.

I used to run into this all of the time.  I'd call them then hang up after one ring.  One guy I would make sure he was breathing then call.
