Walking down the aisle

Does anyone have any cute and creative ideas to ask their dad to walk them down the aisle?

You could always try interpretive dance. Or an 80s montage video. Or smoke signals. Or just asking him. Or a handmade card. Or his favorite pizza spelling it out for him. Or a treasure map ultimately leading to a rose with the tag, "Will you walk me down the aisle" on it. Or a graduated version of Duck, Duck, Goose. Or just asking him. Or learning morse code together and then coding it out to him. Or writing a song and singing it for him at a karaoke bar.

Maybe this is out dated, but I kind of assumed that unless you have a distant relationship with your dad, it's sort of expected.  I like the interpretative dance idea.

</div><div>Just ask him.  It shouldn't come as a surprise to him.  My dad and I have joked about it my whole life, and there has never been any question about him not doing it.</div>

Because my dad and I are close I wanted to do something special for him. He already knows he is going to but I wanted to do something meaningful.

Him walking you down the aisle is meaningful.

You don't have to pile meaning on top of meaning.  He loves you, you love him and it will be a special moment in a day filled with special moments.  Just ask him.

Spell it out with cupcakes.  At least, that seems to be the answer to everything on the Bump.

Alternately, you can go to Etsy and buy him a giant onesie that says "AISLE ESCORT" on it.  Imprinted onesies from Etsy are another popular solution.

If all this AND BC's excellent suggestions fail, you could try...just asking him.

I find most of your replies very rude, if you're not going to be helpful just don't respond.
